Yuma Union High School District Approves New Trade Skills Wing

District and campus leaders in Yuma say the change reflects months of planning and input from families, faculty, and students.

"It's a big step forward for Yuma, and it wouldn't have happened without a lot of people pulling in the same direction," said Maria Reyes, university spokesperson.

The plan affects roughly 2842 students this year, with additional phases expected over the next 3 to 4 school years. Officials say funding is already in place for the first phase.
