Health officials in Tucson say the move is meant to keep pace with a fast-growing population and rising demand for local care.
"This is something our community has been asking for, and we're glad to finally see it come together," said Chris Robinson, nursing director in Tucson.
The expansion is expected to add roughly 29 new positions, including clinical and support staff, and comes as regional population growth pushes demand for care to record levels.

Patients are encouraged to check with their provider directly for scheduling as the new services come online.
