Havasu Community Hospital Expands ICU Capacity

Health officials in Lake Havasu City say the move is meant to keep pace with a fast-growing population and rising demand for local care.

"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and people are already noticing the difference," said Maria Reyes, clinic director in Lake Havasu City.

The expansion is expected to add roughly 42 new positions, including clinical and support staff, and comes as regional population growth pushes demand for care to record levels.
