Health officials in Flagstaff say the move is meant to keep pace with a fast-growing population and rising demand for local care.
"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and people are already noticing the difference," said Nicole Davis, chief medical officer in Flagstaff.
The expansion is expected to add roughly 36 new positions, including clinical and support staff, and comes as regional population growth pushes demand for care to record levels.
"This is exactly the kind of progress our community deserves." — Nicole Davis
Patients are encouraged to check with their provider directly for scheduling as the new services come online.
